We at Elder Care West Michigan are embracing the ability to conduct a virtual visit with you until at least April 30th. This allows us to continue valuable, accessible care during this time of public protection from the COVID-19 pandemic when we are being asked to minimize face to face visits. This is an established method of conducting health care visits, but new to primary care in the home.

We are using the doxy.me online platform to conduct visits using video and audio access to you. This can be done on a smartphone, tablet or computer. We think you will be pleasantly surprised at the ease of use.

If you have a scheduled appointment we will contact you within 2-3 business days prior to your visit to discuss this arrangement.

The process is outlined below and will be reviewed when you receive your phone call as well as in a follow-up email or letter.

Make sure you have a suitable device and can access the internet. Please ask a facility staff person, family member or trusted friend to assist with this if needed. Or call us to assist you.

We will send you a computer invitation by email. Please contact us to clarify the email you wish to use. When you open the link in the email, you will be asked to type in your name and you will be in our virtual waiting room. Your provider will then join you!
