Hilary Cooper

Hilary Cooper, MSN, FNP is a provider for Elder Care of West Michigan. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from the University of Michigan-Flint with specialization as a family nurse practitioner in 2018 and from Calvin College with a bachelor’s degree in nursing in 2014. She is a current member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Michigan Council of Nurse Practitioners.

Hilary has been practicing nursing for 6 years. As a nurse practitioner, she has worked in urgent care and primary care, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of a wide range of chronic and acute illnesses for individuals across the lifespan. As an RN, she specialized in acute care, telemetry, and medical-surgical nursing. She also spent a year in home care of the elderly as a home health aide and completed an internship in Medicare case management. She enjoys taking the time to understand and address the concerns of those struggling with complex illnesses, providing emotional and spiritual support in addition to physical care, and developing positive relationships with patients and their families.
